Greetings SJHS Alumni,
The St. Joseph Public Schools Foundation is interested in gathering contact information for as many SJHS Alumni as possible. The purpose of this information is to communicate with you from time to time and keep you updated on the many wonderful activities going in your alma mater’s district. Your information will not be shared with persons or organizations outside of St. Joseph Public Schools. Additionally, we are available to assist you with class reunion resources such as alumni banners, electronic sign postings, SJPS materials and high school tours.
The St. Joseph Public Schools Foundation would like to honor alumni who have excelled in their professions and/or made significant contributions to their community. The Distinguished Alumni Award will recognize exemplary St. Joseph High School graduates. No one actively employed by the school system or currently serving on the School Board or Foundation Board will be considered.
Distinguished Alumni achievements, strength of character and citizenship serve as a valuable model to inspire and challenge current students. Nominees will be accepted in the following categories: Professional Achievement, Community Service and Volunteerism.
Selection will be based on the following criteria:
Graduate of St. Joseph Public Schools of ten or more years.
Demonstrates a high level of achievement in his/her category and has made significant contributions.
Exhibits inspirational leadership, character, and service.
Nominations for 2020 will be accepted through December 15, 2019. Posthumous nominations will be accepted. Nominations will be kept on hand for two years and will be considered again the following year.
