The St. Joseph Public Schools have a long history, having celebrated its
175th birthday in 2013. The St. Joseph Public Schools Foundation has
been part of that history since 1996. Changes in school funding that
occurred in Michigan in 1993 with the passage of proposition A
necessitated the need to find supplemental funding for school districts
throughout Michigan. The contents of this report describe how the
SJPS Foundation fills that need, with the support of our donors, for the
St. Joseph Public Schools.
