Paul W. and Rose Suchovsky Memorial Scholarship

The Paul W. and Rose Suchovsky Memorial Scholarship was established in 2012 through the generosity of Mr. Edward Todd, SJHS Class of 1954, and his wishes to honor the memory of his mother and stepfather. The scholarship assists SJHS graduating seniors who wish to pursue a college degree in the field of Business Engineering or Law. Paul and Rose Suchovsky were business people and entrepreneurs who appreciated the important role business plays in providing opportunities for people and building communities. The Believe in Yourself Scholarship

The Gerbel and Kodis families have established a scholarship to help assist graduating seniors from St. Joseph High School who wish to further their education by attending college. As longtime members of the community, The Gerbel and Kodis families feel strongly about providing this opportunity for St. Joseph High School students. They would like to recognize students who have displayed a passion for learning, who have a desire to succeed, and who want to build on the foundation that they received through the St. Joseph Public Schools. Two (2) $5,000 scholarships will be awarded.

Each scholarship is chaired by a Foundation Board member and three community members who thoroughly review each application and determine applicants to interview. After the interviews, recipients are selected. A difficult task for certain, as each applicant has strengths and worthy attributes.
